They left changed.
Now they leave with proof.

Larita Academy builds ambition in young Australians who have not always had a reason to expect much. We made sure that work counts for something on paper.

The experience was never the problem.
The gap was proof.

Larita Academy describes itself as an intensive training program for at-risk young people in Victoria, designed to fuel entrepreneurial drive, promote pathways to employment, and help form positive connections. Anyone who has stood in that room will tell you the description undersells it.

Young people walked out of the Academy different. More confident, more connected, clearer about what they wanted. But nothing they could hand to an employer. Nothing a TAFE or a university would read. The change was real and completely invisible on paper.

That is the problem re:cognition exists to solve. We are a Registered Training Organisation, RTO 40655, and we own the 11250NAT Certificate IV in Wellbeing Science. Which means we can take learning that has already happened and make it nationally recognised, without turning it into school.

Same outcomes. Same spirit. Same science.

The work the Academy already does on self-efficacy, agency and social connection lines up cleanly with units of the Certificate IV in Wellbeing Science. Not approximately. Cleanly. Same outcomes, same spirit, same science.

So the question was never how to change Larita. It was what needed to sit around the program to let a qualified assessor confirm the learning, and how little of it we could get away with.

What we added, and everything we didn't

  1. AT THE START

A short diagnostic. A quick baseline, so there is something to measure the experience against. A few minutes. Not a test.

  2. THROUGH THE PROGRAM

A wellbeing portfolio. Evidence gathered in the flow of the experience, in whatever form suits the young person. Spoken, written or filmed.

  3. AFTERWARDS

A short follow-up task. Enough for the assessor to confirm the learning held once real life started again.

  4. EVERYTHING ELSE

Untouched. The pace, the energy and the feel of the room stay exactly as Larita built them. That was the whole point.

Graduates receive a Statement of Attainment for the units of competency they complete. It is nationally recognised, it is issued by re:cognition under RTO 40655, and those units count toward the full Certificate IV in Wellbeing Science if they choose to keep going.

We were not observing. We were coaching.

This mapping did not happen from a desk. Yulia Zlatkin, CEO and Founder of re:cognition, is a Larita Academy Coach, listed on Larita's own crew for the Class of '26, Larita's 2026 cohort. She was in the room for the program she was credentialing.

That matters more than it sounds. Accreditation done badly turns a living program into a compliance exercise, because the person doing the mapping has only ever read about it. Being in the room meant we could see which moments carried the real learning, and protect them.

"You cannot credential a room you have never stood in. Every judgement we made about what to add came from watching what already worked."

Yulia Zlatkin, CEO and Founder, re:cognition · Larita Academy Coach, Class of '26

The thing we own is the thing worth giving.

re:cognition is an Australian training organisation. We are not a foundation and we do not run a grants program. What we have is a nationally accredited qualification we own outright, and the authority that comes with being the RTO that issues it.

Accreditation tends to travel in one direction. Corporate wellbeing teams. HR departments. Professionals investing in their own development. All completely legitimate, and all of them already know where to find us.

The young people at the Larita Academy had done the work too. Self-efficacy, connection, and the evidence to back both. They met the standard the units ask for. What nobody had done yet was put it in writing.

So we did. The first Statements of Attainment were issued on 8 July 2026. Not a pilot and not a marketing exercise. Real certificates, real units of competency, recorded on each graduate's national training record.

Giving back, for a business like ours, is not a cheque. It is opening the thing we own to people who have already earned it.

  1. WHAT WE OPENED

The qualification itself. A qualification we own, and the assessment and compliance work that has to sit behind it.

  2. WHAT IT COST THE GRADUATES

Nothing. No fee, no enrolment barrier, no requirement to commit to anything further.

  3. WHAT IT OPENS

A pathway. Credit toward the full Certificate IV, if and when a graduate decides they want it.

reveal

The moment it lands.

The Statement of Attainment is the credential. The re:veal is how it arrives. A short, sound-on animation built for one person, with their name in it, that takes under a minute to watch.

Every young person in the Class of '26 got their own. Not a batch email with a PDF attached. Their name, their units, their certificate number, and three buttons at the end.

  1. Watch it.

Their name appears, then the qualification, then the units they attained.

  2. Add it to LinkedIn.

One tap sends the credential straight into their profile, issuer and all.

  3. Keep it.

Download the certificate, or share it to whoever they want to show.

What this would take from you

The straight answer, before you book a call. Most of the work sits on our side, and that is the point.

  1. You keep your program.

We map what you already do against units that already exist. Nothing gets removed and nothing gets rewritten to suit us.

  2. Three small additions.

A short baseline at the start, evidence gathered in the flow of the experience, and one brief follow-up task afterwards.

  3. Assessment sits with us.

Qualified assessors, the compliance behind them, and the issuing of every Statement of Attainment. You do not become a training organisation.

  4. Your people stay your people.

Your facilitators keep running the room. At Larita we joined as coaches rather than sending an auditor in.

re lation

What the partnership actually is

re:cognition is an Official Corporate Partner of Larita Academy. Not a logo on a banner. Six working commitments.

A young person walks out of Larita changed. Now they walk out with proof.

Run something that changes people? Let's make it count.

Partner with re:cognition.

Larita did the hard part. We made it recognised. If you run a program that changes people and you want them to leave with a credential the world can read, that is the conversation we love to have.

11250NAT Certificate IV in Wellbeing Science is nationally recognised training owned, delivered and issued by re:cognition, National Provider No. 40655. Graduates of the Larita Academy program receive a Statement of Attainment for the units of competency they successfully complete. Units attained are recognised as credit toward the full qualification. A Statement of Attainment is not completion of the qualification. Graduate outcome figures shown on this page are published by Larita Academy and relate to the Larita Academy program. Recognition is a proud partner and supporter of Larita Academy.
